Artist Louis Garcia developed his interest in art in Jr. High and High School and continued with education in commercial art at San Antonio College.

He continues to make an impression on the art community throughout the coastal bend with his award winning paintings, organizational leadership, and support for his fellow artists and his commitment to volunteering.

Louis is the president of the Art Association of Corpus Christi and is a member of the exhibit committee for the Art Center of Corpus Christi.

Louis’ works have been featured across the coastal bend including Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, and Beeville.  Exhibits venues such as the South Texas Museum of Art, Texas A&M Islander Gallery, Joseph A. Cain Memorial Art Gallery Delmar College, Simon Michael Gallery Coastal Bend College, Meadows Gallery Art Center of Corpus Christi and the Art Center for the Islands are locations where you can view Louis’ new original oil paintings which circulate during yearly exhibitions.
